Felton, CA – 7/13/2026 – Inovonics, a leading manufacturer of broadcast equipment and modulation monitors, announces the successful delivery of 55 Model 541 FM Modulation Monitors to All India Radio (AIR), India’s national public broadcaster.
The units, ordered earlier this year following a competitive tender process initiated in 2025, have now been fully received by AIR. Installation across AIR’s extensive FM transmitter network is scheduled over the coming months. The procurement underscores AIR’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of signal quality and regulatory compliance across one of the world’s largest radio broadcasting operations.
To ensure full adherence to stringent technical requirements, AIR conducted rigorous compliance testing. Two AIR engineers traveled to Inovonics’ factory in the United States for several days of intensive, on-site evaluation. Building on a long-standing standard, many private broadcasters have relied on the Inovonics 531N—the predecessor to the 541—for years. The new all-digital Model 541 offers significantly enhanced specifications, including a built-in touchscreen display for real-time spectrum analysis and intuitive menu navigation, delivering improved performance and operational efficiency.
