AM Audio Processor

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter

NOVIA 236 is expressly tailored for medium-wave monaural AM broadcasting. It combines the functions of slow, ‘gain-riding’ AGC, ‘syllabic’ consistency leveling, 4 stages of parametric EQ, 3 bands of dynamic range compression with variable crossovers, ‘brick wall’ bandwidth restriction and a final no-splatter peak controller that supports asymmetrical carrier modulation.

Setup and operation are simplified with 10 factory and 10 user-defined processing presets.

Setup and operation are simplified with 10 factory and 10 user-defined processing presets. In addition, the IP interface allows 2-way program streaming, plus total remote control of the NOVIA 236 using any PC or mobile device. SNMP operation is supported.

NOVIA´s parametric equalizer offers continuous control over the audio signal's frequency content with 3 bands of dynamic compression and selectable crossovers.

The NOVIA 236 accepts both program line and streaming inputs and allows remote IP audio monitoring.

Reviews

Why talk radio stations should be broadcasting in mono, not stereo.

- David Bialik, Radio World Guest Commentary. April 17, 2022 Let´s Talk About Mono

The 236 has improved our sound greatly! It is easy to use, the warranty/repair process is fast and state of the art. We will be purchasing another unit for our other AM station.

Excellent value for the money. Novia 236 is compact in size but huge in features. A real winner in a 1/2-rack format. The various levels of customization for the "sound" that's just right for your format are easily accessible from the front panel. The extensive metering allows you to observe every aspect of AGC, equalization and band width.

- Michael Bradford - Bradford Broadcast/Audio Services (USA)

Great little machine. Does everything it is supposed to do.

- Richard L Evans - WXLV, Sellersville, PA

This product has highly enhanced the sound of my AM station. We have been getting numerous calls as to the increase of quality of the sound on the station. Thanks!
